Long time no see. Its been a while. I've been very busy. A little over a month ago I got an offer for a Jr. Penetration Tester role in my company. I accepted without hesitation. In the past month I have been trying to acclimate to my new role. There have been kinks here and there but so far its nothing short of great. Who wouldn't be super pumped about getting a job they have dreamed about since childhood? I have been asked "So, you got the job. Why are you still working on certifications to get the job?" in reference to the OSCP. Well its simple. That was my goal. I set it, it doesn't change just because I got the position. Before purchasing the course I had popped 40-50 boxes on various platforms and at that point I felt like its now or never. I started the course on 5/4. While going through the course I felt like much of it I already have a solid handle on until I got to the SQLi injection module. A person could go mad trying to figure out why everything breaks but much of it can be fixed by reverting the lab exercise. The course is by far one of the best I have taken to date.
