Plan for 2022
1-1-2022
Goals for this year :
OSCP
PNPT
eCPPTv2
Practical Network Penetration Tester

To start the year I plan on studying and taking the PNPT exam. The coursework includes :
Practical Ethical Hacking
Open-Source Intelligence(OSINT) Fundamentals
External Pentest Playbook
Windows Privilege Escalation for Beginners
Linux Privilege Escalation for Beginners
These courses are $30 each and the exam is $299. While the last two courses on the list are not required for the course they are very helpful. I also did not purchase each one of these. I purchased the Practical Ethical Hacking course to get started, then while looking for a discount code for the 4-pack of classes offered on the TCM website, I came across The Cyber Mentor's Twitch Channel. After a few minutes on his stream I noticed he was giving away the exact 4-pack of classes I was looking for a discount code to buy, so I entered the drawing. After a few minutes of chatting with the stream he started to draw random names and by some stroke of luck my name popped up first! The ultimate goal for this year is the OSCP. With the recent updates to the OSCP adding Active Directory penetration testing, the most natural choice was PNPT. Not only did I win the 4-pack of courses but this solidified that my next step would be the PNPT.
Offensive Security Certified Professional

The main goal for this year is the OSCP. This is highly regarded as one of the best certifications to get into a Penetration Testing career. The exam is also notoriously hard with a motto of βTry Harderβ.
The coursework will include :
Plus anything else I can find to help...
The TJnull list includes a lot of free machines but a subscription to Try Hack Me and Hack the Box are required to complete all of the suggested boxes. While the PWK course is a minimum of $999 with the 30 day labs or more depending on if you feel like you need more lab time.
eCPPTv2

The eCPPTv2 is more of a secondary goal after completing the PNPT and the OSCP simply because I do not want to pay a ridiculous amount for the INE subscription and I recieved a free voucher for any eLearnSecurity exam when I purchased my voucher for the eJPT. My thoughts are, if I am able to make it through the first two courses and exams, I will be more than prepared for this one.
